Hammond Manufacturing - Industry 4.0 Enclosures

The Hammond Electronics 1554 and 1555 series of enclosures are optimized for use in harsh industrial environments, the 1554 flat lid and 1555 styled lid ranges of ABS and UV stabilized polycarbonate enclosures that are IP66 rated by use of a one piece silicone gasket in a tongue and groove seal with good mechanical protection. 

The light grey RAL 7035 enclosures are designed to house PCB's or DIN rail.  
23 sizes from 66 x 66 x 41 mm to 239 x 160 x 119 mm are available with flat and styled self coloured, clear and translucent lids. 

Also offering enclosures with Flanged lids in 10 sizes from 119 x 66 x 42mm ~180 x 119 x 62 mm, increased security is provided by preventing access to the interior without removing the enclosure from the surface that is attached to. 

The styled lids are  recessed which suits mounting a membrane keyboard and are fitted with PCB mounting bosses. 

Bases are fitted with internal DIN rail mounting tabs in all but two sizes & standoffs for mounting PCBs, optional internal panels are available for all types .Corrosion problems are avoided by the base inserts and self-captivating lid screws bring stainless steel, located outside the gasket area. 

Additional holes in the base also outside the gasket seal are provided to allow for easy wall or shelf mounting. 

Optional accessories include a mount foot kit & internal steel panels can be fitted to the integral mounting points in the base which also features internal vertical 1.6mm PCB slots.
